Quebec City, August 11, 2021 – On Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10, Quebec City Comiccon will finally present its seventh edition. After a break due to the pandemic, the whole team is beyond excited to welcome attendees to the Centre des Congrès this fall.
Quebec City Comiccon has become one of the most popular events for fans of comic books, video games, movies, TV, animé and fantasy fiction. The organizers hope to offer a normal experience for visitors who will have access to the exhibition hall. As usual, there will be something for every collector among the vast array of booths and exhibitors from all over the province. Up and coming artists can visit the artists’ lane and meet some of the most impressive comic book creators from across Canada. They can see illustrators at work, chat with them and even buy pieces of their fabulous work. What’s more, video game store La Planque will present the Retro Games Zone filled with gaming stations including Nintendo Nes, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, PS4 and many more.
This year, the event will focus on families, with tons of activities for younger children. Admission is free for children ages 11 and under! All visitors, especially the youngest ones, are invited to dress up as their favourite superhero or character, just for fun or to participate in the famous Saturday Masquerade Ball, which will take the form of a parade. Both simple creations and costumes created by cosplay masters will be on display and eligible for prizes. Don’t miss it! You’ll also want to make sure to check out the cosplay fan groups all weekend long in the exhibition hall.
Quebec City Comiccon will follow all government measures in the weeks to come, as the health and safety of all attendees is the highest priority. Follow Quebec City Comiccon on Facebook, Instagram or www.comicconquebec.com.
