Biography
Victor Lahlou is a French game developer based in Montreal; a city renowned as one of the biggest creative hubs for the video game industry.
A concept artist in a company he can’t legally name, he has always had a monomaniacal interest in drawing stuff. Shockingly, he wanted to be a comic book artist. But since he is also passionate about paying his bills, he chose the golden path to riches: video games. At this point, you know not to ask him for financial advice.
In 2019, when a former animation director accidentally almost smashed a colleague’s head in with a foam hammer, the idea of portraying the day-to-day life of gamedevs popped into Victor’s own head. He came back to his first love, comics, and so DevteamLife was born! He has since regularly been making comics alongside his video game day job. He likes to travel and organize gamedev meetings everywhere he visits. He won the award for Loudest Colleague in 2020 at the studio where he works and continues an eternal quest for the perfect ramen.
